ACI Limited is a Bangladesh-based diversified company headquartered at ACI Centre, 245, Tejgaon Industrial Area, Dhaka-1208. Its healthcare division focuses on pharmaceutical products, while the wider group operates through five diversified strategic business units. In 1992, ICI divested its investment in Bangladesh to management, and the business was renamed Advanced Chemical Industries (ACI) PLC.

Healthcare and pharmaceutical business

The Healthcare Division is dedicated to improving health in Bangladesh through pharmaceutical products described by the company as innovative and reliable. Its pharmaceutical business also has an international reach, with products exported to 30 countries across four continents. ACI introduced a quality management system in Bangladesh by becoming the first company in the country to achieve ISO 9001 certification in 1995, and it states that continuous improvement remains part of its operating approach.

Agribusinesses covers agriculture, livestock and fisheries, while ACI Motors operates in farm mechanization, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and construction equipment. The Retail Chain Division operates through the SHWAPNO retail network.
